Volunteers Thanked

To the Editor:

On behalf of the residents of Nunnawauk Meadows, I am writing to thank all of the young people and adult volunteers from Newtown Youth Services who took part in the Independent Living Day activities on April 28.

Due to the wonderful reviews that your workers received last year, we doubled the number of requests for assistance this time around! Our residents are very appreciative of the “spring cleaning” chores performed for them, which not only ease their everyday living but also demonstrate the compassion of their neighbors.

 We truly appreciate your ongoing support of Newtown’s senior and disabled residents. We thank you for all of your hard work and wish you well in your future activities.
