The Spirit Of Music, At The Mattatuck Museum

WATERBURY — The Mattatuck Museum is celebrating The Waterbury Chorale with a new exhibition entitled “The Spirit of Music: The Waterbury Chorale Celebrates 45 Years.”

Since its inception, the chorale has carried the spirit of Waterbury locally, nationally and internationally. The new exhibition commemorates the history of the Waterbury Chorale from its beginnings to the present through photos, stories, objects and recordings of Chorale performances. This exhibition will be on view in the Community Gallery through June 10.

The Mattatuck Museum is operated with support from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism, and is a member of the Connecticut Art Trail. It is located at 144 West Main Street, with convenient, free parking available on Park Place. Regular museum admission is $5, $4 for senior citizens, and free for museum members and children under 16.
