Multiple police officers were seen outside an Elizabeth Street residence Wednesday morning, investigating an incident that had occurred there. Located within the Borough of Newtown, Elizabeth Street is a short east-west residential street that connects South Main Street and Queen Street.

Police Sargent Aaron Bahamonde said Wednesday morning, "Police are actively investigating an untimely death at 6 Elizabeth Street.

"The public is not at risk.

"The investigation is limited to the residence.

"It is an ongoing investigation.

"We expect to release further details later."
