Saturday, May 20 – Take a Taste of Manhattan, a chance to visit four Manhattan Food “Hot Spots” like Chinatown, Lower East Side Katz’s Deli, Little Italy Ferrara Bakery and Cafe and the Upper West Side Zabar’s. Cost is $50 per person and that includes a motorcoach bus that will stop at each neighborhood and give you time to shop and sample your favorites. Bus leaves at 8 am.

Saturday, October 7 – All abroad a restored village railway coach for a nostalgic, 60-minute narrated ride on the Berkshire Railroad through the scenic Berkshire Hills along the Housatonic River from Lenox to Stockbridge. Eat lunch at Cork ‘N Hearth overlooking Laurel Lake in Lee or Lenox 218 Restaurants for excellent menus and gracious dining. Fee is $66 per person.

Saturday, November 11 – Visit the 9th Annual Chocolate Show in New York City. This is the country’s largest chocolate festival for chocolate lovers of all ages. Discover and indulge in all there is to know about chocolate. There will be over 80 vendors with holiday gifts, demonstrations by top pastry chefs, chocolate samples, chocolate activities for adults and children, chocolate lounge and cafe and Times Square Shopping. Fee is $65 per person.

Saturday, June 3 – The 32nd annual Rooster Run/Walk supporting the Newtown Scholarship Association will be held Saturday, June 3. Pre-registration is $15; registration is $18 the day of the race.

Programs …

Registration is going on now for all summer programs, like Summer Skills for Grades 5 to 8. Each week is an opportunity to reinforce skills learned during the academic year or to improve areas of weakness, with classes taught by certified teacher Teri LaRocque).

Then there are sports camps like Slamma Jamma Basketball, Carl Strait’s Nighthawk Baseball Camp, MLS Soccer Camp, Karate Camp, Summer Youth Golf Lessons, Tennis Lessons and Camp, Skyhawks Sports Camps (ranging from Tiny Hawks ages 3 and 4 years old, Multi Sport ages 6 to 12 years old, Mini Hawk age 4 to 6 years old), Flag Football (ages 6 to 10), Volleyball (ages 7 to 14), New Street Hockey (ages 7 to 14), Bret Nichols Basketball Camp, The Lacrosse Academy, Sean Remson Complete Football Clinic, Golf Quest Camp, Field Hockey Camp, Summer Horse Camp, Fitness Boot Camp, New Cricket and Touch Rugby (ages 7 to 18), Brian Micena Lacrosse Camp, Jeff Tolson Flag Football Camp and new Horseback Riding Programs. There will also be a variety of specialty camps ranging from Dance Camps Robotics, Theatre Camp, Science Adventures, Paint, Draw & More, Sewing Lessons, and Kidfit Summer Camp. And don’t forget the Rising Star Basketball League.
