36th Annual SCAN Juried Spring Art Show continues, 12–5 pm, C.H. Booth Library lower meeting room, 25 Main Street, free admission, more than 150 works in oil by members of Society of Creative Arts of Newtown, show will be open daily until May 7 (Saturday, 10 am-5 pm; Sunday, 1-5 pm); 426-4533.

Opening night Noises Off, curtain 8 pm, The Little Theatre, Orchard Hill Road, tickets $20, season-opening production by The Town Players will continue on weekends until May 27 (tickets higher tonight, opening night, due to being fundraiser for Newtown Congregational Church; tickets regularly $12-$15); 270-9144.
