The VFW handicap ramp at the VFW Post 308 canteen, Freedom Defenders Way (formerly 18 Tinkerfield Road), is being overhauled. Donations are sought to offset the cost of the new planks. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant rails will be installed as well.

Each $25 donation will earn a “dog tag” to commemorate someone/something the donor wishes to honor, and the tags will be mounted on the walkway.

Each dog tag is allowed up to five lines, with up to 15 characters per line. Donors should include the desired inscription with their donation, as well as contact information and an e-mail address.

Make checks payable to VFW Post 308, and mark “Handicap” in the memo line. Checks or cash payments can be dropped off at the VFW Post 308 canteen, with the bartender, between 11 am and 9 pm; or go to vfwpost308.com to download and fill out an inscription form.
