Magnet School Students To Perform ‘At Arts Day At The Mattatuck’ Event

WATERBURY — Students from the Waterbury Arts Magnet School will have an opportunity to showcase their talents at “Art Day at the Mattatuck” on Saturday, May 14, from 10:30 am to 4 pm. The day-long exposition will feature students performing dance, theater, percussion, and music selections throughout the museum.

Complementing the performance will be the annual Congressional Art Show, which will take place from 3 to 5 pm. Selected high school students from throughout Connecticut’s 5th Congressional district will have their artwork judged, with prizes awarded by Congresswoman Nancy Johnson (R-CT).

The public is invited to attend all performances and activities during Arts Day.

For further information, call Kjell Wangensteen at 203-753-0381, extension 20.
