Adopt From The Animal Center

The following dogs and cats are among those available for adoption through the Animal Center:

JORDAN is  very friendly, Labrador retriever/German Shepherd mix who is six months old, neutered, and current on vaccines.

AKIRA is a super gentle and sweet Labrador retriever/shepherd mix who gets along great with people and other dogs. She is approximately 1 1/2 and would love to find a forever home. Animal Center officials rescued Akira the day she was scheduled to be euthanized when the shelter she was staying at  ran out of space. Akira is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines.

ROCKY ROAD is a friendly, 6 month old, male German Shepherd mix for adoption. He was transferred into the adoption program when his time had run out at the shelter where he was staying. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines.

ROXY is a 6 month old Maine Coon mix for adoption. She hasn’t always known the kindness of strangers and is therefore cautious when meeting new friends. But she loves to play and gets more confident each passing day. In a quiet and loving home, this kitty will shine. Roxy is spayed and current on vaccines.

ROCKY is a friendly, affectionate, and purry, gray tabby cat who enjoys snuggling and loves to roll over on the group. Rocky had once lived  outside with a group of community cats and is very friendly. Rocky is about 1 1/2 years old, neutered, and current on vaccines.

OLIVER was adopted in March, but he is back in The Animal Center’s foster program because his new family’s resident cat did not like him. Some call him “The Champ” for somehow surviving this winter outside as a declawed cat, but Animal Center volunteers just call him lovable Oliver. Oliver is about 6 years old, neutered, and current on vaccines.

CANDY is a gentle and sweet 2 year old dwarf Maine Coon mix who recently underwent surgery to remove a lame front leg. She will be ready for adoption in early May. Candy is spayed and current on vaccines.

The  Animal Center is an all volunteer, non-profit animal  welfare charity. Programs include: A foster-based, no-kill rescue and adoption program  for homeless and injured cats and kittens; a Feral Cat Assistance Program that provides spay/neuter and vaccination assistance to caregivers of  free-roaming, unowned cats in the community; and a dog rescue program that saves adoptable dogs scheduled for euthanasia. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity and relies heavily on the support of the public and  generous volunteers.
