Mother’s Day Plant Sale

SOUTHBURY — The Ladies Auxiliary of Southbury Volunteer Firemen’s Association will present its Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale Friday and Saturday, May 6–7.

The area in front of Center Firehouse, at 461 Main Street South, will be transformed into a floral marketplace complete with hanging baskets filled with ivy geraniums, begonias, fuchsias, petunias and several other unusual varieties. There will also be flats of annual bedding plants and some perennials, as well as individual pots of geraniums, vinca vines, spikes and New Guinea impatiens.

The sale will run from noon to 7 pm on Friday and then 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday. Proceeds will benefit the auxiliary volunteer fire company.
