Mr and Mrs Bradley Cox Carofino

Kathleen Megan Kelly of Newtown and Bradley Cox Carofino of Litchfield were married August 16, 2003, at St Mary’s Church, Bethel, with Monsignor Edward B. Karl and Father Daniel Dolan officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs James T. Kelly of Newtown. The groom is the son of Dr and Mrs George Carofino of Litchfield.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matron of Honor was the bride’s sister, Elizabeth Groonell of Newtown.

Bridesmaids were Anisha Chablani and Melissa McLaughlin of Boston, Mass., Elisa Kelly of Oakton, Va., and Anne Hunt of Lakeville.

Best man was Steven Kowaleski of Brookline, Mass.

Ushers were Jonathan Carofino and Geoffrey Carofino of Torrington, James Kelly of Oakton, Va., and Evan Hunt of Lakeville.

The bride attended Boston College. She is a third year medical student at the University of Connecticut.

The groom attended Holy Cross College. He is a third year medical student at the University of Connecticut.

After a wedding trip to Maui, the couple resides in West Hartford.
