Grace Skubly, 97, of Newtown, died May 3, at Masonicare at Newtown. She was born in Bridgeport, November 25, 1915, a daughter of the late Michael and Gisella (Lengyel) Skubly. Ms Skubly and her mother moved to Newtown in 1971.

Ms Skubly completed her pharmacy degree in Hungary and owned and operated her own drug store in Bridgeport for 45 years.

She leaves no immediate survivors.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Thursday, May 9, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
