SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. — Find Art Deco and Modernism at “Weekend By-The-Bay,” June 2–3. The Concourse Exhibition Center at 8th and Brannan Street is the location for the largest Art Deco and Modernism sale in the country. With more than 200 dealers selling Arts and Crafts, Mission, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, streamline modern, Midcentury Modern and exceptional design to 1980, there will be furniture, accessories, pottery, glass, art, books, jewelry, vintage clothing and collectibles.

Designer furniture by Paul Frankl, Norman Bel Geddes,  Gilbert Rohde, Kem Weber, Charles Eames, George Nelson, Donald Deskey, Bertoia, Saarinen, Thonet and others will be on view and for sale.

Find decorative accessories by Chase Chrome, Frankart, Hall, Kensington, Russel Wright, Tiffany, Lalique, Van Briggle, Frank Lloyd Wright, Murano and Von Nessen, to mention just a few.

Vintage clothing and Bakelite, costume and designer jewelry will all be featured. There will be a vintage fashion show, Saturday, at 2 pm. “The Hat Parade,” featuring models wearing hats from 1900 to 1960, is just one of many specials. Throughout the show, Deborah and Peter Keresztury, producers of the show, will be signing their book, Art Deco Bakelite Jewelry & Boxes and selling some of the collection featured in the book.

An Art Deco walking tour led by The Art Deco Society of California will be offered. On Saturday at 11 am, tour downtown San Francisco and on Sunday at 11 am, there will be a tour of the Marina District.
