Saturday Morning Bird Walk

DERBY — Anyone who enjoys watching birds is invited to join volunteer Maria Stockmal for a relaxing Saturday morning walk in search of local birds at the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP’s) Kellogg Environmental Center.

Experience the joy of observing birds in the wild, sharpen bird identification skills, or just enjoy a Saturday morning hike through the grounds of the environmental center and Osbornedale State Park. The walk is scheduled for May 19, will begin at 9 am, and will last up to two hours, depending on conditions.

Meet in the front lobby of Kellogg Environmental Center at 9 am to begin. All levels of birders are encouraged to participate, and there is no charge for the program.
