Boys U14
Strikers 2, Westport 1 â Two goals from George Delia sealed the victory for the Strikers. Christian Gregoire displayed another strong performance in goal. Ryan Pasko, Greg Campbell, Austin Jones, Mike Renz and Liam Ferguson were outstanding in defense. Daniel Hufziger, Russell Morgan and Aaron Nezvesky dominated the midfield.
Boys U13
Force 4, Darien 0 â Travis Leblanc notched a hat trick with assists from Sean Burson and Cameron Clark as the Force recorded its third straight shutout, thanks to goaltender Austin Puleri. Justin Brophy added the final goal off an assist from Francis Afriyie.

Glastonbury Tournament
Newtown Power 1, Glastonbury 0 â Nora Murphy scored the lone goal off an assist from Meaghan Carney to lead the Power to the win. Brooke Leifels started that play. Stefanie Clavette was outstanding in goal as Molly Mahoney and Abbie Keough secured the shutout with excellent defensive play.
Power 0, CFC Wildcats 0 â Stephanie Clavette again was superb notching her second shutout with save after save. Christina Caporale played solid midfield while Katherine Scott kept the pressure on at forward.
Simsbury 2, Power 1 â Cristina Naldini scored the lone goal with a perfectly placed free kick in the upper left corner of the goal. Hannah Maret and Meaghan Carney were strong at midfield while Celeste Cheung anchored the defense.
Westport 2, Power 1 â Lexi Black scored Newtownâs only goal off an assist by Ale Fuentes. Newtown showed resolve and pressured all second half with superb play by Ali Fuentes, Cristina Naldini, Nora Murphy, Hannah Maret, Kendall Svanda in goal and Stefanie Clavette at forward.
Boys U12
Cobras 3, Naugatuck 0 (State Cup) â Danny Bittman registered a pair of assist as the Cobras blanked Naugatuck. Patrick Thornberg and Richard Greenwood played well on D as Connor Quinn, Andy Kelley and Drew Sullivan all scored.
Westport 3, Cobras 1 â In a hard fought battle, Colin Moller, Ian Solaski, Robert Willis and Richard Greenwood all played aggressive in the midfield. Nick Barreto scored the only goal on penalty kick and Sam Langdon played a solid offensive game. Matt Rahtelli and Pieter Martino anchored the D.
Girls U12
Flash 7, Bethel 0 (CT Cup) â Lindsay Jossick and Brittany Tolla scored two goals apiece to lead the Flash. Caitlin Yakush scored a goal, assisted on another, and then shared the shutout in goal. Melissa Buccino and Amy Martin also scored as Jenna Hindes and Kristy Papaj registered assists.
Flash 1, Eastern FC 0 â Brittany Tolla scored three times off assists from Bridget Power and Lindsay Jossick. Julia Trudell and Kelly Brooks displayed tough defense while Katie Shirley kept offense in check.
Boys U11
Beasts 3, Rocky Hill 2 â Stefan Dullinger scored two goals and Jonah Muniz added a goal and an assist to lead the Beasts. Connor Gallagher, Sam Boland and Bradon Marks also had strong games. Austin Raftery and Owen Gaston excelled in goal.
Greenwich 2, Beasts 1 â Stefan Dullinger scored the lone Newtown goal off a beautiful assist from Charlie Helgren. Robert Linden, Jordan Sock, Doug Miller and Matt Rosa pressured on offense while Adam Hufziger and Jonah Muniz were strong on defense.
Girls U11
Jaguars 4, New Canaan 2 â Reagan Carney scored all four goals to lead the Jags to the win. Lindsay Jagoe and Shannon OâGorman played well in the midfield as Tess Murray, Jamison Fletcher and Karlie Kuligowski rose to the occasion on defense.
Boys U10
White Lightning 4, Monroe Fury Green 4 â Down 4-0 with 30 minutes left in the second half, the White Lightning rallied for the draw. Brenton Scott and Clay Gattey scored two goals apiece and Kevin Ovendorf made 20 saves in the net. Conrad Sawyer, Knute Johnson, Kevin Droniak and Luca Imbimbo were part of the overall team effort.
Girls U10
Lightning 4, Bethel 1 â Sarah Lynch scored three goals and Kailee Dunnigan scored one, leading the Lightning past Bethel. Emily Riley and Sienna Cicarelli were great in goal as and Cassie Fischer, Meghan Korchman and Caroline Tanner all played strong games.

Girls U14
Rage 3, Piranhas 1 â Ashley Cirone, Claire Miles and Claire Bernson each scored to lead the Rage to the win in the season opener. Molly Sheluck, Matilda Dean and Abby Blakeman had strong games. For the Piranhas, Audra Sarna scored and had a great game at forward. Sydney Hansen, Courtney Beckett and Jessica McDonald had solid games and Lauren Sarna played well in goal.
Hurricanes 2, Dominators 2 â Casey Rose-Kearns and Christie Iorfino scored to lead the Hurricanes. Samantha Whitley assisted on both goals as Kyra Smith, Alyssa Kneski and Elena Unschuld all played well. For the Dominators, Bianca LeBlanc and Lindsey Pearl played great in goal. Rachel Gregoire assisted Alex Scarpa on the Dominators first goal while Jennifer and Kelli Van Veen combined for the second goal.
Rage 2, Sharpshooters 2 â Alexandra Duris and Claire Miles scored to lead the Rage. Amanda Stanton, Katelyn Dandrea and Abby Blakeman played well. For the âShooters, Sarah McMahon and Jenna Bonaccorso scored with assists from Meagan Foy and Hayley Naphen. Gabby Milano and Jamie Keating played well.
Boys U14
Liverpool 6, TNT 2 â Colin Cooper scored two goals and Justin Weiner added a third to lead Liverpool. Josh Branchflower had a great game in the midfield while Luke Shearin was strong in goal. For the TNT, Devin DiNicola and Jimmy Russo scored as Paolo Moscovici had a strong game in midfield and Peter Kerns anchored the defense.
Dynamite 3, Eliminators 0 â Ryan LeMay, Andy Hsu and Yossi Kohrmann-Glaser all scored in the first half to light the Dynamite fuse. Nolan Cosgrove and Josh Schuette played well at midfield. For the Eliminators, Kevin Dill and Nick Snyder both played very well in goal as Vincent Brophy and Evan Swain each had strong games at midfield.
Meteors 7, Golden Toasters 2 â Kieran Lardner scored five goals and assisted on the two others to power the Meteors. RJ Roman added a goal and an assist as Jake Moore scored and Chad Cullens assisted. Hunter Moore was solid in the midfield. For the Toasters, Francis Saricini scored both goals while Mergim Bajraliu and Tom Ermis played solid games and Alec Lockhart was strong in the midfield.
Boys U10
Red Bulls 3, Camel Shards 1 â Jordan Abraham, Bradley Kretz, and Carter Nordman each scored for the Red Bulls and Jared Brady did a great job tending goal. Joshua Tuffy scored for the Camel Shards, James Barry played strong defense, Chris Horkachuck was great on offense, and Nick Cirone did a great job as goalie.
Wolverines 3, Huskies 1 â Harry Solaski scored two goals and Matt Wood scored one to lead the Wolverines. Peter Manfredonia played well at keeper while Thomas Rahr and Brandon Rodriguez provided the defense. For the Huskies, Colin Reilly scored the lone goal. Michael Stierle and Zachary Pollack played solid D as Travis Hanna and Nicholas Klein kept up the offensive pressure.
Hurricanes 3, Oskars 2 â Matt Mossbarger and Patrick Afriyie scored to lead the âCanes. Noah Velush-Rogers and Otto Kerler played well. For the Oskars, Mustafa Sakhi scored as Lukas Palumbo, Tim Kelly and Nicholas Norberg all played well.
Dynamite 4, Scorpions 0 â Jonathan Schwartz scored two goals and Wesley Morlock and Alec Beauchmin scored one apiece to lead the Dynamite to victory. Noah Burhance played another strong game on offense, Paul OâLeary and Chris Zakur played well at midfield. For the Scorpions, Tyler Dullinger and Max Galassi both played very strong games on both sides of the field. Matthew Janco had a great game at defense and Izaiah Volpe played well on offense.
Girls U10
Strikers 3, Soccer Shockers 2 â Kelsey Muniz scored twice and Katie Bedell scored once on a penalty kick to lead the Strikers. Emma Burns and Emily Davis were great in goal while Emily Sippin and Tanner Tardie had great games. For the Shockers, Helene Sorensen scored both goals with assists from Eliza Eggleston and Kimberly Brello. Jaqueline Mooney played a great game in goal.
Comets 3, Tie Dye Tigers 3 â Hayley Dunn scored two goals and Kat Jennings scored one to lead the Comets. Hannah Delia and Kayla Crisalli were great minding the nets while Taylor Zingaro and Anna Pickney had strong performances. For the Tigers, Kerry Scallon scored twice and Jesse Sailer once. Jamie Duncan, Aoife Flannagan and Sierra Mathers played well.
Twisters 3, Rockets 0 â Emily Turco, Hope McMorran and Maggie Kost scored goals to lead the Twisters. Haley Trudell, Amanda Martinez and Emily Campbell played well on defense. For the Rockets, Kelly Coughlin and Megan Milano both had solid games in goal and on defense as Lindsay Fuori played hard on both sides of the ball.
Mad Monkeys 2, Soccer Shockers 1 â Samantha Luzietti and Geralyn Klein scored and Kristen Yap was a force on defense to lead the Monkeys. Aspen Kraushaar played a strong game on offense. For the Shockers, Christina DeBartolomeo scored a goal with an assist from Eliza Eggleston. Kimberly Brello was solid in goal and Meagan Weber was outstanding on defense.
Girls U8
Mustangs 4, Fighting Irish 2 â Nevan Gattey scored two goals while Alana Murray and Lauren Beier had one apiece to lead the âStangs. Amy Pruner, Lauren King and Hailey Conrad had assists.
Rockets 5, Pink Panthers 1 â Caitlyn Linden scored three times and Britney Antous twice to lead the Rockets. Jane Ricketts and Anna Harrison were solid on D. For the Panthers, Grace Sandercox scored as Keira Veillette, Mallory Lobuglio and Camryn Cicarelli played well.
Power 5, Huskies 4 â Caroline Caporale scored five goals with assists from Tessa Leon-Gambetta, Kayla Disibio and Julianna Patelli to lead the Power. Maya Neuhoff played great in goal. For the Huskies, Lauren Wilcox had three goals and Erin Tressler had one as Katie Laaksonen played a great all-round game.
Funky Monkeys 5, Blue Dragons 2 â Quinn Karp, Haley Taylor and Lucy Helgren scored to lead the Monkeys. Megan Nahmias and Megan Olszewski had outstanding games. For the Dragons, Emily McCoy and Madeleine Strokis as Lauren Granville and Melissa Shohet played well in the field.
Happy Hippos 1, Killers 1 â Marina Renzi scored for the Hippos. Oliva Kaplan played a strong all around game, Kayla Crosby was a force on defense and Stephanie Haas led the offense. For the Killers, Anna Biondi scored the lone goal as Katie Elkins and Margaret Elkins played a strong overall defensive game and Grace Larsen played well on offense.
Boys U8
Flying Tornadoes 5, Patriots 2 â Jacob Ermis (2), Matthew T., Dylan Long, and Ryan Seavue all scored to lead the Tornadoes. Eric Vingeau had a fine effort. For the Patriots, Andrew Lee and Sebastian Forero scored as Riley Burns and Barrett DeYoung were excellent in goal. Jack Carello had a strong game.
Team (#7) 5, Yankees 2 â Connor Flint scored two goals and Josh Houle, Richard Ciamarra and Bryce Mather all had solo goals to lead the Yankees. Anthony Crisalli played well. Sam Cox and Declan Sullivan scored to lead the Yanks while Graham Dowd and Joey Conrad had great games.
Rockets 2, Lightning Bolts 0 â Zachary Laros and Chris Rovelli each scored a goal to give the Rockets the victory. Philip Coffey and John Bienkowski both played a strong offensive and defensive game. For the Bolts, Matt Bucci and Dylan Kretz both played well offensively. Matt Guinee had an excellent game in goal, while Matthew Kretz played a solid defensive game.
Girls U6
Team (#1) 2, Team (#3) 2 â Sarah Houle and Olivia Bellagamba scored for Team #1 while Savannah Mather played a great game. Camryn Findley and Madison Findley scored for Team #3 while Stephanie Helstern played a great game.
Boys U6
Blue Lightning 2, Fireballs 2 â Tyler Trede scored twice to lead the Lightning. Alex Street played excellent in goal and Daniel Reilly played strong defense. For the Fireballs, Austin Smith and William Stenz each scored a goal and Reed Hamnond played well in the net with three saves in the quarter. Jacob Baron played a strong game on both sides of the field.
Firekickers 3, Blue Sharks 1 â Hunter Procaccini scored two goals and Rory Edwards had one to lead the Firekickers. Silas Decker was excellent and Jimmy Davies had some nice saves in goal. For the Blue Sharks, Ethan Cox scored the only goal. Owen Rahr and Ian Shull played a great game in defense and Jeffrey Klein helped the offense with his aggressive play.
