In Pharmacy Theft

By Andrew Gorosko

Police report that at about 9:10 am on Monday, May 7, a man entered the Walgreens Pharmacy on the corner of South Main Street and Mile Hill Road and stole approximately $600 worth of store merchandise.

The man stole numerous boxes of Crest-brand White Strips, a dental product that is used to whiten teeth.

Police said the suspect is a white man who is about 25 years old, about 5-foot 10 inches tall, about 180 pounds, and clean shaven.

At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a blue New York Yankees baseball cap, a white long-sleeve shirt, dark pants, and white sneakers.

Police said the man left the scene in a mid-to-late-1990s gray Honda Accord. The auto is missing its rear bumper and has some front-end damage.

Police ask anyone with information on the incident to contact them at the police station at 3 Main Street, telephone 203-426-5841. Patrol Officer Michael McGowan is investigating.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the man leaving the store after the theft.
