Spirituality And Eternal Life:

Explore The Connection, Experience The Freedom

SOUTHBURY — Aging, and all the things associated with it, is certainly a leading topic today. International speaker Mark Swinney asks, “Could it be that God didn’t intend us to age?”

Mr Swinney will present a talk titled, “Eternal Life: Could it be that God didn’t intend you to age?” on Saturday, May 26, at Southbury Public Library, 100 Poverty Road. The program will begin at 1 pm.

“Claiming one’s identity as God’s offspring brings countless freedoms,” says Mr Swinney. “As God’s spiritual creations, we don’t necessarily need to be slaves to time. We don’t need to wait to become fully who we are. Time doesn’t have the power to erode who we are, dilute our intelligence, or sap our strength.”

Mr Swinney’s ideas are based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the bible, and as discussed in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

A practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, Mark Swinney has devoted more than 25 years both to praying with people and empowering people to pray effectively for themselves. A prolific author with more than 250 published articles addressing numerous facets of prayer and healing, Mr Swinney’s love for God shines very brightly. He has traveled much of the world speaking about his heartfelt love for God and Christian healing, and is known for his honesty, humor, and candid style.

Mr Swinney is a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. He travels from his home in Placitas, N.M.

His May 26 appearance is being hosted by First Church of Christ Scientist-Southbury. For information on this event, call the church office, 203-262-1944.
