Studentâs Tiger Collection On View
At Booth Library
By Eliza Hallabeck
Tigers of all shapes and sizes collected by Middle Gate third grader Hannah Ruhs for the last couple of years are on display in C.H. Booth Libraryâs Childrenâs Department until the end of the month.
Hannah arranged her tigers in the display case at the end of last week.
âI have a lot of tigers,â said Hannah, âand I wanted to have people see them.â
Hannah said her love of tigers began after studying the animal during a unit on endangered species when she was in second grade.
âI think that is when I started to like them,â she said.
All but one of her tigers is on display, she said, and that tiger is too large to fit in the display case.
Hannahâs mother Nancy said her daughterâs name was added to the list of possible display organizers, and Hannahâs little sister is also on the list to have a display at the library next month. Â
