This Saturday, May 14, the Newtown High School girls’ and boys’ lacrosse teams will play at Blue & Gold Stadium in honor of those who have been affected by Pediatric Cancer. The varsity girls play at noon, the junior varsity boys compete at 2 pm, and the varsity boys follow at 3:30.

During the games, the Nighthawks will sell concessions and collect donations. All funds will be given to The Mary Ruchalski Foundation’s Play 4 Mary Campaign in honor of Mary Socci who tragically lost her battle with Pediatric Cancer in November 2020.

In honor of the Socci Family and all who have been touched by Pediatric Cancer, representatives of the NHS lacrosse program ask for your support. Jen Socci, is a member of the Nighthawks and they are hoping to see the stands filled to show support for the family.
