Mrs Fries and Mrs Fusco's second grade classes visited The Newtown Bee office on Thursday, May 8 as part of the annual walking tour. The children visit several locations along Main Street on this tour, including the Matthew Curtis House, Edmond Town Hall, C.H. Booth Library, and the Meeting House. As part of the tour, the children learn about what the staff at The Bee does, the sister publication Antiques & The Arts Weekly, and how the departments coordinate with each other to put the publications together every week. The staff looks forward to seeing the students around town.
