Middle Gate Students Shine In Spring Concert Assembly
Middle Gate Elementary School fourth graders dazzled and delighted their peers during their in-school spring concert assembly on Monday, May 5.
Much like their previous concerts, the fourth graders performed a wide variety of songs, from upbeat piano-driven songs such as “Sing in the Sunshine” to laid back and supportive folk-tropical songs like “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars. Students snapped, clapped, and danced their way through the assembly with big smiles on their faces, as did Jones.
The fourth grade chorus was especially excited for their secret song of the show, “Raining Tacos” by Parry Gripp. Middle School fourth grader and chorus member Aberdeen Braca dressed up as a taco for the special performance and spun around in the walkway between the crowd. The chorus got a standing ovation and loud applause and cheers from the audience after showing everyone just how much they love tacos.
Jones said that she was incredibly proud of her fourth grade students for another amazing show.
