To the Editor:

Thanks to the generous support of Kevin’s Community Center, the first-ever Fairfield Hills Music Festival was held this past Saturday at Homestead Field on the Fairfield Hills campus. This incredible event would not have been possible without their backing.

Events like this take a dedicated team, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who made the day a success. Special thanks to:

Jim and Jennifer Cebry, Mike and Jennifer Guman, Andy Corson, Dave Wheeler, Erick Feucht, Kim Cornell, Paul Lundquist, Bridget Schuster, Jeff and Megan Garlow, and Leda O’Callaghan; your time and commitment made a huge impact.

To our amazing volunteers: thank you for helping everything run so smoothly. Your hard work behind the scenes truly made the day shine.

We are also incredibly thankful to our generous sponsors:

The Russell Agency, Newtown Savings Bank, Ingersoll Auto of Danbury, Ben’s Lighthouse (through the generous donation of Cornell-Carr), Connie Widmann and Team, Sippin Energy, Caraluzzi’s Market, Holmes Fine Gardens, Lesser Evil, Nick’s Catering, NewSylum Brewing, Reverie Brewing, Aquila’s Nest, Live at Edmond Town Hall and the Danbury Police Cadet Program. Newtown Farmers Market, Love Has a Home Here, Appleby Coaching, Dream Vacation, Newtown Salt Spa, Earth Path Sanctuary, all through a generous anonymous donation.

A special shoutout to Tim, Sharkey, and Mark from NewSylum for their help in setting up the beer tent — thank you.

Fairfield Hills is a beautiful and underutilized gem in our community, and we hope to see more events bringing people together on this incredible property. Let’s continue to celebrate and support what makes Newtown such a special place.
