On Friday, May 16, Middle Gate hosted a Career Day. Several parents from the community came in to demonstrate what they do for a living. Some parents brought in tools and equipment for the children to try out. Several other careers were on display at Middle Gate that day, including a veterinary technician, a Yonkers, N.Y. firefighter, a Taekwondo master, a jiu-jitsu instructor, electrician, graphic designer, and a third rail foreman for Metro North.
