Boston Duo To Perform At Pomperaug Woods
SOUTHBURY â Pomperaug Woods will welcome Boston Duo for its next monthly Classical Concert series performance. The duo will perform on Sunday, June 3, at 3 pm, in the Wilson Hall Auditorium.
Admission is free and open to the public.

Boston Duo members are the pianist Ellina Blinder and the violinist Lilia Muchnik. The duo was founded in 1995. Together they recorded all Klavier and Violin Sonatas by J.S. Bach. Their second CD that features pieces by a mix of composers including A. Schnitke, A. Piazzolla and a prominent Russian violinist/composer/educator, Igor Frolov.
Ms Muchnik received her education in Moscowâs Gnessin Institute, and is presently on the faculty of New England Conservatory.
Ms Blinder studied at Hartt School of Music in Connecticut and received her Bachelors of Music and Master of Music from New England Conservatory in Boston. Ms Blinder is on a piano and chamber music faculty of St Markâs School in Southborough, Mass. Â
