Hazard Communication Program, Exposure Control Plan Online

Minneapolis, Minn. — Compliance Publishing Corporation, the nation’s leading publisher of employee safety compliance information, has released the only program that allows institutions and companies to create, modify, and publish their OSHA required Hazard Communication Program, and Exposure Control Plan completely online.

“The primary purpose of allowing the plan to be created online instead of using a template is that these programs were not getting done, or were taking an incredible amount of time, and employees are being put at risk,” said by Alan Rosenauer, publisher of regulatory products with Compliance Publishing. “This is a huge step in getting companies into compliance and keeping their employees safe.”

Every workplace contains chemicals, many of them hazardous. In order to ensure chemical safety in the workplace, information must be available about the identities and hazards of the chemicals. OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) requires the development and dissemination of such information in a Hazard Communication Program.

OSHA estimates that tens of millions of workers are at risk of occupational exposure to blood or other bodily fluids that may include human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV), and others. The creation of an Exposure Control Plan is vital to a companies preparedness to reduce the risk to their employees.

The Hazard Communication Program & Exposure Control Plans Online is the next step in providing employees safety information, being made available to all Compliance Publishing users, who also have access to a complete set of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Federal Regulations, Safety Training, and other safety information.

“Our job, is to do everything we can to allow the employees who walk in the door in the morning, to walk out the door at the end of the day alive and safe,” said Mr Rosenauer.
