JP Maguire 17, Newtown Insurance 10 – JP McGuire produced 19 hits on its way to its fourth victory of the season. Meagan Murphy went 4-for-4 and Victoria Picerno 3-for-3 to lead the offense. Morgan Davola chipped in with three hits and Caitlin Cocivi with two doubles. Taylor Demirjian sparked the defense with two outfield catches. For Newtown Insurance, Courtney Amaral hit the ball hard and played well in the field, as did Susan Mason. Morghan Moroney and Bianca Leblanc had good offensive performances.

Global Financial Consulting 11, Brookfield 3 – GFC provided a great performance despite only having six players for the game. Aria Brownell pitched two scoreless innings, played great defense in her first start as a catcher and had two RBI. Meriah Tani also played her first game at catcher and provided great defense. Megan Gibbons was on base five times, collecting two hits. Brittney Soucar went 2-for-4 with two RBI as Alyssa Buda and Cynthia Reynolds each added two hits and an RBI.

designerbodies 12, Dr. Curtis Beck 8 – Maddy Good went two innings in her pitching debut and Ashley Cirone recorded the save in designerbodies’ win. Katie Guaragno, Caitlin Dowling and Lydia Post led the offensive attack. For Dr. Curtis Beck, Nadia El Hag pitched two solid innings and Mary Beth Meier and Kate Butera hit the ball well and made great plays defensively.

designerbodies 12, Newtown Junior Women 8 – Lauren McMahon had a hit and scored the winning run in designerbodies’ come-from-behind win. Rachel DiVanno also had a key hit in the last-inning rally, and Rhea Schneider and Ashley Cirone both pitched well. For Newtown Jr. Women, Katelyn Dandrea had two hits and Amanda Rowan blasted a home run. Alena Ruscoe and Kelly Brassard both pitched three strong innings.
