A True American Hero

To the Editor:

On this eve of Memorial Day lest we forget a native Newtown son Eric George Blantin, who gave his life for this country in Vietnam at the age of 19 on November 20, 1969.

Raise a flag and put a hand to your heart for Eric and his family. He was and will continue to be a true American hero. He is never forgotten and always in my heart after all these years.
