Elaine N. Barry

Elaine N. Barry of Newtown, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died peacefully, with her family at her side, Tuesday May 22.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Barry; her sister Roberta O’Byrne; three children and their spouses, Deb and Ron Melycher, Donna and Ken Liberatore, Jeff and Lyn Barry; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Friday, May 25, from 6 to 9 pm. A funeral service will take place at 11 am, Saturday, May 26, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street, Newtown. Interment will follow in Newtown Village Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Masonicare Hospice and Home Care, 147 Toddy Hill Road, Newtown CT 06470.
