Memorial Day Service At VFW

Members of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 308, and American Legion Post 202 invite the public to a ceremony honoring the country’s veterans of wars fought on American and foreign soil, as well as those currently serving in the armed forces, Monday, May 28, at 11 am, on the grounds of the VFW, 18 Tinkerfield Road. Newtown First Selectman Pat Llodra will be the guest speaker, and former Post commander Don Monckton will emcee the program.

The public is encouraged to attend.
