Newbury Extends ‘Oklahoma!’ Casting

WOODBURY — Newbury Musical Theatre Company is extending auditions for this summer’s musical production of the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, Oklahoma!

Area performers who are entering grade 7 through adult are encouraged to call Artistic Director Cynthia Servetas at 203-264-1009 to set up an audition time.

Rehearsals will begin June 25 and run for five weeks, culminating with productions at Pomperaug High School on July 28-29.

Rehearsals will take place at Main Street Ballet in Woodbury from 6:30 to 9:30 pm Mondays through Thursdays, and scheduled scenes from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Fridays, giving those who are working during the day the opportunity to participate.
