NICE Educational Forum To Be Presented
The Newtown International Center for Education (NICE) will present an educational forum to the public, Wednesday, May 30, in the Newtown High School Cafetorium, at 7 pm.
Program director Jason Hiruo and Newtown First Selectman Pat Llodra, along with Newtown student ambassadors will be featured speakers at the event.
NICE is an initiative of the Newtown Public Schools to meet the needs of students in alignment with the districtâs strategic plan. The NICE program is currently funded by grants and scholarships.
NICE sister school partnerships provide opportunities for educational workshops, hosting visiting staff and students, leadership opportunities, student ambassador programs, teaching abroad, classroom and school exchanges, and much more.
The May 30 NICE forum is hosted by NICE PCO and supported by Newtown PTAs.
