The route will move east from South Pine Creek Road along Post Road to the library; south along Old Post Road; east along Old Post Road passing the Town Green, and continuing beyond South Benson Road.
Iâm not sure where along the route the band will be performing, but their appearance will double as a fundraiser for The Lebo-DeSantie Center for Liver & Pancreatic Cancer.
The guys will be participating in The Georgetown Street Fair on Sunday, June 10, with a scheduled set time of 4 pm, and then headlining at McGuireâs Ale House in Newtown on Friday, June 29.
*Josh Steele, better known as bass practitioner FLUX PAVILION, will bring his first string of headlining dates in the US to The Dome at The Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Friday, June 8. Tickets are all $25, and are on sale now through LiveNation.com.
Cookie Monsta and Brown & Gammon have supporting sets that night as well.
*Local musician JOE PROC has a number of events coming up in various forms.
Performing as DJ Bongo Joe (no guitar no vocals), Joe will be at Whiskeyâs in Derby (5 Main Street, the former home of Tail Gatorâs) on Thursdays, May 31 and June 7 and 21.
With Steve Clarke and Abu, as OFF THE HOOK, Joe and crew will be at My Place Restaurant here in Newtown on Thursdays, June 14 and 28.
Joe and Abu will then co-host happy hour at The One-Eyed Pig in Newtown on Friday, June 8, from 5 to 8 pm.
Joe will be hosting the open mic at Two Boots in Bridgeport (281 Fairfield Avenue; 203-331-1377) on Wednesdays, June 6 and 20. He will be there each week from 8 to 11 pm, and he will be performing during the open mic at the same location on Friday, June 15.
And JOLIE, the duo of Joe Proc and Julie Ketchum, will be at The Lakehouse, 337 Roosevelt Drive (Route 34) in Seymour (203-751-9452), on Friday, June 22, for a 7 pm show; and then at Il Palio, 5 Corporate Drive in Shelton (203-944-0770) the following Friday for an 8 oâclock show.
