To the Editor:

This Memorial Day, Americans will pause to honor the courageous men and women in uniform who gave their lives to defend our nation’s freedom and security. Whatever plans you have for the long weekend, we invite you to join all of us at Dichello Distributors, Inc, in celebrating our fallen heroes on May 29th and raising a glass in their honor.

For many Americans, the long weekend also represents the start of summer gatherings, and unfortunately it has become one of the most dangerous times of year for drivers on our roads. If your plans involve drinking, remember to prioritize the essential thing that our service members fought to uphold: our safety and well-being. Drunk driving is 100 percent preventable, and we can all do our part to keep our loved ones and neighbors safe by leaving the car keys at home.

Over the last 35 years, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have invested more than $1 billion in community-based programs and initiatives to prevent underage drinking, impaired driving and other harmful uses of alcohol. All of us at Dichello Distributors are once again teaming up with Anheuser-Busch, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Uber to encourage all to Decide To Ride by planning ahead for a safe ride home if you are drinking.

Thank you for your support of this shared mission to put an end to drunk driving. We wish you a memorable and safe Memorial Day.
