USPS Food Drive A Success

To the Editor:

On Saturday, May 13, the US Postal Service had their annual food drive and it was once again a big success. I would like to thank all those who volunteered their time sorting and picking up the food.

Thanks to Dunkin’ Donuts and Carminuccio’s Pizza for donating food for the volunteers and postal workers. A huge thank you to Joanne and Anne at Social Services for helping coordinate the routes and guiding the volunteers. This is one of the area’s largest food drives and it enables us to keep the Food Pantry stocked for the coming winter months.

Thank you to all who left food by the mailboxes despite the rain.
