Flagpole Photographers Camera Club, a cornerstone of the Newtown photography community since 1985, announces its upcoming 40th anniversary celebration.

All members, past and present, along with guests, are invited to commemorate this significant milestone on Thursday, June 5, at 7 pm, at Newtown Senior Center, 8 Simpson Street, on the Fairfield Hills campus.

Founded on the enduring principles of “connect, collaborate, and challenge,” Flagpole Photographers Camera Club has fostered a vibrant environment for photography enthusiasts of all levels to learn, grow, and share their passion for the past four decades. The club has consistently provided a platform for creativity, camaraderie, and friendly competition, establishing itself as a respected organization within the New England photography scene.

The 40th Anniversary celebration promises an evening of delightful desserts and beverages, exciting raffles for Flagpole Photographers apparel and gift cards, and most importantly, a unique opportunity for past and present members to reconnect, reminisce over cherished memories, and create new ones.

The club is making a special effort to gather past club presidents and as many previous members as possible to honor this incredible journey and reunite familiar faces.
