Newtown Youth & Family Service is looking for one youth in Newtown to be awarded an Outstanding Youth Award during NYFS’s 2013 Annual Meeting.

NYFS annually recognizes a youth who has shown exemplary leadership skills as well as being a good role model for his or her peers. This youth should be community oriented, and demonstrate good character.

Residents are invited to send a brief (two paragraphs) description about their nominee to KJohnson@NewtownYouthAndFamilyServices.org by June 7. Written nominations can be mailed to Ms Johnson, c/o NYFS, 15 Berkshire Road, Sandy Hook CT 06482.
