UPDATE: This story has been updated to reflect the correct address for Art & Frame Gallery.

The Society of the Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) fundraiser for the people of Ukraine is extended to Saturday, June 4.

The event is held Art & Frame Gallery, 77 Main Street.

The public is invited to buy original fine artwork, the proceeds of which will go to World Central Kitchen (WCK), a nonprofit organization that is actively providing meals to the displaced from the Ukraine War.

SCAN members and nonmembers were invited to donate original art. The works were put on display on Friday, May 27. They were originally to be presenting that day and Saturday, May 28.

On Monday, May 30, an announcement from SCAN shared, “Due to popular demand and the generosity of Art & Frame Gallery ... SCAN’s fundraiser for the people of Ukraine is being extended past this weekend through next Saturday, June 4."

The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10 am-6 pm.
