Planning For College

The Bethel Public Library will present a program with two guest speakers who will talk about planning for college Thursday, June 7, at 7 pm.

Michael Obadia, a tutor and former high school teacher, will talk about study skills and give information on the basic standardized tests.

Deana Chamberlin, an independent college consultant, will then offer advice on college application completion and choosing a college.

There will also be a question and answer period. This program is recommended for ninth through eleventh grade students and their parents. The program will take place in the Seelye Room of the Bethel Public Library.

Registration is required and space is limited. For more information or to register, contact Amy Schumann at 794-8756, extension 0.

All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are free, open to the public, and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the library as soon as possible to make arrangements.

The library is at 189 Greenwood Avenue, with plenty of parking on School Street.
