Iannacone, Sr

Charles Paul Iannacone, Sr, 74, of Sandy Hook, died May 25, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his wife Patricia (Vilk) Iannacone and family. He was born in Norwalk, March 5, 1938, a son of Mary (Lepore) and Quido Iannacone.

Mr Iannacone was a master electrician who taught many young men the trade. He enjoyed hunting in the Adirondacks, visiting Vermont, and was fan of NASCAR.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son Bruce Iannacone, and his wife Marcia, of Danbury; two daughters, Lisa Durgy, and her husband Ron, and Susan Schumaker, and her husband Mike, all of Mesa, Ariz.; five brothers and their wives, Quido and Carol Iannacone, Daniel and Barbara Iannacone, Christopher and Jeanette Iannacone, William and Martha Iannacone, and Lawrence Iannacone; a sister, Linda Devone, and her husband Joe; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Charles Paul Iannacone, Jr, and by a great-grandson, Bronson Charles; and by four siblings.

Funeral services took place May 30, in the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
