Customer Appreciation Day

At Andrea’s Bake Shop

Tony Posca, owner of Andrea’s Bake Shop, will host an Appreciation Day for loyal customers and the public, Sunday, June 3, in front of the Queen Street bakery, from 3 to 5 pm.

The bakery will provide free food, entertainment, and beverages during the afternoon event, as well as a “Make Your Own Cupcake Table,” said Mr Posca. Customers can rock and roll to Newtown’s own “Jolie,” an acoustic rock duo made up of Joe Proc and Julie Ketchum.

Among the many people Mr Posca will be greeting on Sunday, he said, are the original Andrea’s Bake Shop owners, Phillip DiSora and Perry Viselli, who plan to stop by for a visit.

“I’m doing this primarily for the people who love us and have supported us over the years,” said Mr Posca, and added that he will make an announcement on Sunday regarding the future of Andrea’s Bake Shop.

However, Mr Posca stressed that Sunday is not a swan song for the bakery, which is for sale. He looks forward to welcoming customers back into the bakery on Tuesday, June 5, for business as usual.
