An End, And Also A Beginning

Leslie Hudson-Tolles may be calling her one-day exhibition at Koenig FrameWorks “A Farewell,” but the special appearance by the artist is also a beginning. While Ms Hudson-Tolles and her family may be moving out of Newtown shortly, the Saturday, June 10 event at the framing shop and gallery at 97 South Main Street will also be the beginning of the first time her works will be carried by a gallery. Koenig FrameWorks will present approximately 100 original and limited edition works by Ms Hudson-Tolles next weekend, and the artist has promised to remarqué any of the prints visitors purchase that afternoon. The reception will run from noon to 4 pm on June 10. The gallery will then maintain an inventory of Ms Hudson-Tolles’s artwork. Standing with just a few of the pieces that will be on view next weekend are, from left, the artist; Alegre Poniros, gallery manager and the framing designer for much of Ms Hudson-Tolles’ work; and gallery owner Caspar Sabatino.               —Bee Photo, Hicks
