Through Good Times

And Bad

To the Editor:

We moved here over 15 years ago and started our family. The mantra at the time was “It’s Nicer in Newtown.” We made many friends and have seen this country town turn into quite a community. Over the years many changes have come to our town but the one thing that is always constant is the wonderful people of Newtown.

I wanted to publicly thank all of our friends for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers for my family as we moved through another one of life’s milestones. It is so comforting to know that we have such loving friends who help us through the good and bad times. The good shepherds at St Rose who helped us pray for understanding, thank you all. I am humbled by the outpouring of love that all of you have shared with us, and my family and I will never forget your kindness. It really is “Nicer in Newtown.”

Thank you all very much, and until we meet again, may He hold you in the palm of His hand.
