Members of Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co., its Ladies Auxiliary, Junior Corps, and even family members and friends will all be volunteering their time to put on the 28th Annual Sandy Hook LobsterFest, a fundraiser for the company, on Friday and Saturday, June 5-6.

Dinner will be served from 5 to 9 pm on Friday, and 4 to 9 pm on Saturday. A full steak or lobster dinner with plenty of sides and a drink are covered by tickets; surf and turf tickets are also available. Takeout orders can be set up.

Tickets are $25 in advance, until noon on June 5, and are available at the company's main station, 18-20 Riverside Road; the fire marshal's office at Newtown Municipal Center, 3 Primrose Street; and The Newtown Bee office, 5 Church Hill Road. They will be $27 at the door.

Children’s dinners, with a burger or hot dog, are $5.

A raw bar and desserts will also be available for separate charges.

Midnight Rodeo will perform on Friday, and The Hollister Thompson Band returns Saturday. John Voket will also be performing each night, prior to the headlining sets.

LobsterFest is presented at the fire company’s main station, on Riverside Road. For additional information call 203-270-4392.

Tables will be set up and lobster dinners will once again be served for a few thousand guests over the course of two nights at the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue main station. The 28th Annual Sandy Hook LobsterFest is scheduled for June 5-6.
