Newtown Youth Services has moved!

You will be able to find us at 10 Glen Road in Sandy Hook. We would like to send a very special “thank you” to Braun Moving and Storage of Newtown for donating their services for our move! The only thing different about NYS is the location. Our staff remains the same, as do our telephone numbers.

PTSA Meeting

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 8, at 8 am. Eighth grade parents are especially encouraged to attend. Siblings are welcome!

Job Bank

Job Bank is a service available to residents in need of assistance with jobs such as yard work, snow removal, babysitting, help with parties, computers, office work, and more. Contact Erin at NYS with your job request and she can suggest a fee schedule appropriate for each job situation. 

Parent Programs

Hope and Support Group: If you are a parent with questions or concerns about your child’s possible or confirmed involvement with substances, you are invited to attend the Hope and Support group. This group meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parents’ Corner. All are welcome.

Youth Programs

4H, HYSAB, MYSAB and NYCAAP: Please call for next meeting times and location.
