Amanda Leigh Cruz to Michael Paul Rosa

Mr and Mrs Philip Cruz of Currituck Road, Newtown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Leigh Cruz, to Michael Paul Rosa, son of Gary and Sheryl Rosa of New Market, N.H.

Ms Cruz is a 2000 graduate of Newtown High School. She graduated from the Saint Anselm College honors program magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in business management. She was commissioned as a military intelligence officer in the United States Army and will serve in Korea.

Mr Rosa graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He was also commissioned as a military intelligence officer in the United States Army and will serve in Texas.

An October 2006 wedding is planned.
