Lifeguard Training June 7–13

DANBURY — The American Red Cross of Western Connecticut will be sponsoring lifeguard training, water safety instructor, and lifeguard training instructor programs June 7–13 at the Western Connecticut State University pool.

Persons who are at least 16 years old and proficient swimmers may become an American Red Cross water safety instructor. This course demonstrates how to teach children and adults to swim.

Persons who are at least 15 years old and are looking for a great summer job or challenging career, can sign up for lifeguard training. At 17 years old, lifeguards can become a lifeguard training instructor.
