Mr and Mrs Richard A. Giammattei

Margaret M. Forde and Richard A. Giammattei were married on April 24 at the Candlewood Inn by Justice of the Peace Deborah H. Stiewing.

The bride is the daughter of David and Janet Forde of Sandy Hook. The bridegroom is the son of Delores Miller of East Haven and the late Fred Miller.

Erica M. Forde was maid of honor and Kristin Zgorski was bridesmaid. The groom’s brother, Michael Miller, was best man and Kevin Bell was usher.

A reception followed the outdoor ceremony at The Candlewood Inn.

Margaret Giammattei graduated from Newtown High School with the Class of 1997, and from the University of Connecticut in 2001 with degrees in criminal justice and psychology. She is the parent specialist at Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut, Inc, in New London.

Richard Giammattei graduated from East Haven High School in 1993 and from the University of Connecticut in 1997 with degrees in English, communication, and journalism. He is a team leader for Data-Mail, Inc, in Newington.

After a wedding trip to Sandals in St Lucia, they are living in New Britain.
