Sunday, June 6 â The Spring Into Summer Hunter Pace, sponsored by the Newtown Bridle Lands Association, will be held Sunday, June 6, at Fairfield Hills. This is a conditioning pace held by the NBLA and the Second Company Governorâs Horse Guard and will feature four divisions: Hunt, Western, Junior and Pleasure. Depending on division, the ride will take roughly 90 minutes and will go all through Fairfield Hills, with jumps and water crossings. Prizes will be awarded to winners of each division. Sunday, June 6 â The 18th annual Bethany Horse Show, sponsored by the Bethany Lions Club and the Sleeping Giant Pony Club, will be held Sunday, June 6, at the Old Bethany Airport on Route 63 in Bethany.
