On Sunday, May 18, Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys visited Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street. Trien is a New York City native who has been performing music for kids and families for more than a decade. Her music for kids and families has won a NAPPA (National Parenting Publications Association) Award, an Academics’ Choice Award, and four Silver Parents’ Choice awards. She is known for highly interactive shows, featuring plenty of group singing and movement.

Several families gathered for the show on Sunday, May 18, and participated in some of the pre-show activities, including face painting. Face painting was provided by four Edmond Town Hall crew members: Taylor Brunelle, Sadie Baimel, Lillian Padilla, and Miranda Daly.

The Family Series continues on August 21, 7 pm with Taylorville. A dynamic tribute band with “unmatched musical talent” will take audience members on a journey through Taylor Swift’s iconic career. The night will include a video wall production that will add a visual spectacle that complements that music. Tickets are on sale now for $50-60 depending on the seat.

Mutts Gone Nuts will visit on September 6, 2 pm. A dozen of the world’s most talented dog performers will star in a comedy dog spectacular. The all-star lineup includes a Guinness World Record holder, and an America’s Got Talent fan favorite, and a host of amazing rescue dogs that will dance, prance, flip, and skip their way across the stage. Tickets are on sale now for $40.

On October 4, Buckets N Boards will visit Edmond Town Hall at 2 pm. A comedy percussion show starring Matthew Levingston and Gareth Server, who have nonstop hilarious interactions with each other and the audience members. Tickets are on sale now. Orchestra seats are $43 and balcony seats are $33.

The final installment of the Family Series for this year will be Mike Super, Magician and Illusionist, on December 19, 7 pm. Super has created a show with jaw dropping magic and illusion, combined with side-splitting humor, energetic music, and 100% audience interaction. Super’s magical approach not only entertains but also actively engages the audience, turning them into participants rather than mere spectators. Tickets are on sale now for $44-$64, depending on the seat.
