Chihuahuas Win Soccer Tourney

The Chihuahuas won Newtown’s U10 boys’ soccer tournament this past weekend. Goalkeepers Kevin

Finnegan and Thomas Elliott combined to allow only one goal in four games.

The defense of Dylan Solano, Justin Cicarelli, Nathan Williams, Harry Eppers and Thomas Elliott was outstanding in keeping the opponents to the outside for most of the games and allowing few shots on goal.

Solano and Elliott also scored. Nathan Augenbraum (5 goals), Dylan Kretz (2 goals), Andrew Janco, Andrew Lee (1 goal), Nathan Williams and Kevin Fennigan (who created many opportunities and pressured the opponents at every chance) led the offense.
