Joseph A. Saputo

Joseph A. Saputo, 52, of Sandy Hook, died June 7 at his home.

He was born in Bridgeport, December 6, 1947, a son of the late August and Doris Saputo. He was a US Army veteran and served in Vietnam. A resident of Newtown since the 1970s, Mr Saputo was employed by the Pitney Bowes Corporation in Newtown.

Mr Saputo is survived by a son, Joseph A. Saputo, Jr, and a daughter, Danielle Saputo, both of Newtown, and a brother, John Saputo of Sandy Hook.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 10, at 11 am in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment will be in St Rose Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 11 am.
